Demography, the Population Association of America’s flagship journal, under the auspices of Duke University Press, is now openly available to all, with no paywall or access barriers, starting with its 2021 volume.
Demography is now openly available with the help of our Community Partners: libraries, funders, and individual donors whose participation helps to cover the journal’s publishing costs.
The move to open access allows the global community of population researchers to more readily access, cite, and disseminate their work in the journal. Authors no longer need to pay article open-access fees.
